Is Selena Gomez not going to be in a band anymore?

Is Selena Gomez not going to be in a band anymore?
I read awhile back that Selena was going to be in a band, but I just read that Selena is recording her debut album right now, so is she not going to be in a band anymore?

    There was never a band.She go's solo just like her bestfriend Demi Lovato.

    Nope she's definitely GOING to be in a band! I'm 100% positive! All boys and her. She's not even calling it Selena Gomez she's going to have an actual band name!

    she said she didn't want to end up like Miley Cyrus going solo, so she wanted to be in a band, but I guess she's going to be like Demi and be a solo artist.
